Heart and Stroke Courses

New hands only CPR and use of AED from the Heart and stroke foundation of Canada - train all your staff in less than 1 hour to save a life. https://vimeo.com/864849127

Heart & Stroke’s short, foundational resuscitation program focuses on practical skills and knowledge that will help you to respond confidently and effectively in a cardiac arrest emergency. Our program is geared to students with little or no medical training – making it ideal for you if your job requires you to learn life-saving techniques for the workplace or if you’re simply interested in developing these critical skills.

You will be able to practise and train in dynamic role-playing situations that mirror real life and will help you in your role as a healthcare provider. You will be introduced to a wide range of life-threatening, all-hands-on-deck scenarios that involve systems of care, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. The goal is to strengthen your ability to communicate and work effectively as a critical member of a team.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundational course for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. BLS is the cornerstone program for healthcare professionals.

Our first aid courses are designed for those who want to learn essential life support skills to better respond to emergencies at home or at work. Our First Aid courses prepare learners through instruction, demonstration and practice. Equip yourself with the knowledge and abilities needed for common health emergencies.
